The quarter's stateside face depicts a one-room schoolhouse with a teacher and students planting a tree. The scene is based on the painting "Arbor Day" by world-renowned Iowa artist Grant Wood. The words Foundation in Education celebrate Iowa's strong values and committment to youth.

Wilson "The Music Man" which ran for 1375 performances on Broadway. Iowa is home to
